Fishing
White Lake –Noted for its game fish of Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth Bass and Walleye, it is also known as one of the top 10 Largemouth Bass fisheries in North America, hosting an annual pro-Bass tournament. Pan fish include Perch, Bluegill, Sunfish and Brown Bullheads.
Madawaska and Ottawa Rivers – Located just minutes away, these rivers provide excellent fishing for all the same game fish found in White Lake. They are both world renowned for their “Muskellunge” fish. Free boat launching is available for both rivers. Charters are also available.
On-Site Recreation
The T-Bell is situated in a calm, secluded part of the lake allowing all of our guests to enjoy the many water sports available to them. T-Bell features a sandy beach with an enclosed swimming area, water slide and raft. Other activities include fishing, water skiing, swimming, volleyball and horseshoes. You can also spend your time relaxing on the lake on one of our boats or paddleboat. In the evening stretch out beside a campfire or head into town for dinner or other activities.
Restaurants, Shopping & Other Services
There is a small General Store and two (2) restaurants located in the White Lake Village, which is only ¼ mile away from T-Bell.
Dozens of restaurants, churches, movie theatres, shopping centers and medical services are all available within a few minutes at the nearby towns of Arnprior and Renfrew. In Ottawa, restaurants specializing in almost every possible ethnic cuisine can be found.
Off-Site Recreation & Site Seeing
Children will enjoy visiting Storyland with its storybook characters, amusement rides and live baby animals. There are pioneer museums, Fulton Farm that features a petting zoo and other activities, Bonnechere Caves as well as numerous caves to explore around White Lake. For teenagers and adults, white-water rafting, horseback riding, fishing charters and golf courses are available.
Within a short 30-minute drive you can enjoy the daily changing of the guard at Parliament Hill, or any of the numerous museums including the Museum of Science and Technology and the Museum of Civilization. If you are a fan of the arts, enjoy a Broadway production at the National Arts Center.
